Grinnell and 67-year-old Sally Jo Kelm, previously of Tama, died Thursday, September 15, 2022, at St. Francis Manor in Grinnell.
The Celebration of Life Assembly might be held on the Smith Funeral Residence in Grinnell on Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 1:00 pm to three:00 pm. A non-public burial will happen at Trinity Lutheran Church to the north of Malcolm.
In reminiscence of Sally, memorials could also be designated to the Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery Affiliation and mailed to the care of Smith Funeral Residence, PO Field 368, Grinnell, IA 50112. Sally was born on January 12, 1955, in Grinnell, Iowa, to Laverne and Avis (Cogley) Kelm. He graduated from Grinnell Excessive College in 1973 and obtained his BA in 1977 from the College of Northern Iowa (UNI) in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Sally taught for 32 years on the South Tama College District in Tama, Iowa.
Sally beloved touring, and her favourite locations had been California, Arizona, Florida, London, and Puerto Vallarta. His enjoyments included attending native occasions, watching Iowa Hawkeye video games, and taking part in playing cards together with his pals. She was the most effective aunt to her sisters’ youngsters, taking them on summer time journeys and spoiling them.
Her sisters in Sally’s household are: Lynn (Terry) Kline of Grinnell, Paula Devereaux of Grinnell, and June (Scott) Wedge of Naples, Florida; nieces and nephews: Peter (Julian) Kline, Amy (Jason) Levang, Julie (Brian) Sharar, Jill (M) Danah, Daniel (Moll) Devereaux, Ryan (Emily) Weige, and Lauren Wedge; nice nieces and nephews: Sydney (Steven) Tallman, Molly (Joe) Brennan, Jacob, and Sam Levang, Cody (Diamond) Sharar, Shania Sharar, Jacob and Avery Devereaux; great-great-niece, Riya Sharar; and Dee, Joe and John, Stan and Ilona and Alice and lots of different pals that Sally considered household.
Sally was killed by her dad and mom and niece Terry Lynn Kline.
